Is there a structured program you can see in action?
Will the program prepare your child for first grade?
Are teachers specially trained for the age they teach?
Are positive methods used to guide behavior?
Do children have access to a variety of engaging activities throughout the day?
Do children have ample time to play and explore?
Are phonics and math basics emphasized in daily activities?
Is there some story time everyday?
Is a reading enrichment program such as Hooked on Phonics® offered?
Do teachers interact with children in both small and large group activities?
Is the classroom decorated with the children's artwork, handwriting and stories?
Do children get to play outside every day (weather permitting)?
